Day 1: I agree, other than the prep work/time - much of which I would have done pre-Whole30 anyway, it was just fine - even being on a Sunday!
Day 2-3: I'm not sure I got "the hangover". I was tired and felt actual physical hunger and had I slept better on night 2, I would have had an easier day 3. However, I feel surprisingly good.
Day 4-5: I don't think I really felt this way on Day 4, well the evening I was a bit crabby, but overall ok.
Day 6-7: No more tired than usual, I just generally feel totally low energy...
Day 7 - 15: These days are labelled "boundless energy now give me a damn Twinkie!" I'm definitely feeling the "give me a damn twinkie" part - all I can think about is the old foods, specifically cheese and bread...no more specifically MELTED cheese and bread.....
Day 16 - 28: These are called "Tiger Blood" where you're supposed to pretty much be done with cravings, have lots of energy and start really seeing the results of your hard work.
