One book down, one to go!

Morning!

I have finished reading Whole30 and am on to It Starts with Food. I'm on Chapter 10 "Grains" and really enjoying it. I usually skip over the technical sciency stuff in these types of books, but I'm finding that the material is really interesting.

I enjoyed the chapter on hormones and why we get into these cycles that we do. It explains a lot.

I really enjoyed the play by play of what to expect during my Whole30 experience day by day and was particularly amused by "kill all the things" on days 4-5. Look out Jeff!

I am realizing that it is not going to be an easy 30 days, but I still feel like I want to fully embrace the journey and really see what it can do for me.

I'm so tired. I'm sick a lot which isn't normal for me. I ache all over, particularly in my arthritisy spots and nothing seems easy these days.

I really am hopeful that this is the program for me and that my "experiment" is going to teach me what to avoid food wise to help with my problem areas.

Have a good week!
